"Pray for Rain. Plan for Drought." is a special project of the South Dakota Grassland Coalition (SDGC). The project is made possible by a collaborative grant to SDGC from the South Dakota office of USDA's Natural Resources Conservation Service, in cooperation with South Dakota State University.
The purpose of this site is to connect you with the information you need—in one location—to both plan for, and help mitigate, the impacts of lingering drought conditions on your ranch. It has been created by the South Dakota Grassland Coalition—for ranchers, by ranchers—to help you weather whatever Mother Nature may throw your way.
